About Us
Farmers Septic Company first joined the septic pumping industry in 2003 when Nick Homutoff began pumping septic tanks in addition to the portable toilets, originally operating as Farmers Toilet Company & Septic Tank Pumping with his sons. After the portable toilet division was sold in 2017, his son, Jeremiah joined him pumping septic tanks and in 2023, he took over the company to continue providing septic service to the local area. Jeremiah's wife, Rebekah, now keeps the office rolling along and is available to answer questions over the phone or help with scheduling. We are based in the Silverton, Oregon area and service the beautiful Willamette Valley. We have over 30 years of experience in the sanitation industry.
As a DEQ licensed pumper in the state of Oregon, Farmers Septic Co pumps septic tanks for regular maintenance, septic tank abandonment, or backing up situations. We also can have the tank pumped and inspected for real estate transaction or county required purposes. We work with many real estate agents to ensure the client (buyer or seller) gets this important step in the process taken care of properly for their home. We also service sand filter systems and can do pumping work for various types of ATT (Alternative Treatment Technology) systems, deferring to the contracted maintenance provider when applicable. Communication is very important and we will always make sure you understand what we are doing and how to best maintain your system.

Until April 30, 2017, we operated as Farmers Toilet Company & Septic Tank Pumping providing portable toilet and septic tank services. As of May 1, 2017, the portable toilet division was sold to Cascade NW, operating as Honeybucket. We now operate as Farmers Septic Company and continue to provide septic tank pumping, maintenance, and inspection services. We are still owned and operated by the same family with a new (almost identical) name and new phone number. Thank you for your continued business as we continue to serve our local communities.
